This recipe for chicken and broccoli stir fry is a non-classic dish of chicken sautéed with fresh broccoli florets and coated in a simple savory sauce. You can have a healthy and easy dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients
Chicken and Broccoli:

1 chicken breast (boneless
skinless), cut into small pieces
·
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil,
·
1/2 small broccoli cut into
florets (about 3cups)
Savory sauce
·
1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
·
1Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
·
1 Tbsp honey
·
1 Tbsp sesame oil
·
1 tsp fresh ginger paste
·
1 tsp garlic grated
·
¼ tsp black pepper plus
more to season chicken
·
¼ tsp chili flakes( for extra spicy
lovers)
Seasoning
·
¼ tsp thyme n basil seasoning
·
¼ tsp toasted sesame seeds
·
Salt to taste
Preparation
& Cooking
1. In
a small bowl, combine all of the sauce ingredients and whisk to dissolve honey.
Set sauce aside.
2. Cut
chicken into small bite-sized pieces and season lightly with pepper.
3. Marinate
the chicken in half of the sauce mix for 30 minutes (if u have time in hand).
4. Heat
a wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 Tbsp olive oil. Spread chicken in a single layer and let it sit for 1
minute then stir fry for another 5-7
minutes or just cooked thoroughly then remove in a dish keep aside.
5. In
the same Wok, add 1 Tbsp oil along with washed broccoli florets, Stir fry 3-4 minutes or broccoli is crisp-tender then reduce
heat to medium/low.
6. Add
the leftover sauce and Simmer 3-4 minutes or until sauce is thickened and
garlic and ginger are mellowed in flavor. To thin the sauce, add water a
tablespoon at a time.
7. Return chicken to the pan and stir another 30 seconds or until heated through. Add more soy sauce to taste if needed and serve it as a side dish or a complete healthy meal.
8. Season with thyme and basil add a pinch of salt. you are Good to Go.
9. Finally, garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
